BCAA Valentine Party
February 25, 2021
Our school party got moved because of the crazy weather. We were going to have it on Monday the day after the holiday but that is the day our temps dropped to single digits and the roads were covered in snow and ice. We decided to have it on the ONLY day we had school that week, Friday.
We printed out several cute pictures for them to choose from to color. Two boys really really took it seriously so I wanted to share their wonderful pictures. I love to encourage their hard work.
In the past we have decorated boxes because our classes have been so much bigger. Next year, we will go back to the box since our class will be larger and they will need a box to hold their stuff. They got to put hearts and stickers on a white bag. Simple but fun. They love stickers. The hearts are actually foam hearts with the peel off back to stick on.
We made heart shaped pbj sandwiches and they loved it!
We took a craft idea from some different activities we’ve done with our curriculum, Experience Early Learning. The kids wrote one letter of their name on a heart and glued eyes on a different heart. Then they glued it on the thick strip of paper that would be connected into a “hat”. They got to work on their handwriting and spelling of their name. They enjoy making these types of hats.
Enjoy these smiling faces! My oldest grand wouldn’t take a picture but she loved making the hat. Thanks for stopping by.
